Manually creating users

Depending on the purchased license and/or installed features, the Users option may not be enabled for this ScanFlowStore installation.

1. Select the Users element in the tree view and click the Edit button.
   

   

2. Double-click on the first empty row in the grid. The next screen appears:
   

   

3. Populate the user properties; it is also possible to assign a user to a group.

User properties:

• Username username, based on the authentication method of the scan device this username can be used for user authentication through the scan device touch screen.
• Full name the full name of the user.
• PID personal ID, based on the authentication method of the scan device this ID can be used for user authentication through the scan device touch screen. This field is alphanumeric.
• Password password, based on the authentication method of the scan device this password can be used for user authentication through the scan device touch screen.
• Confirm password confirm the password.
• Home directory the home directory of the user.
• Email the email address of the user.

4. Click OK to save the user settings.
