You can make a folder template out of any drawer’s existing folder layout. Just select the drawer you want to use as a model for the template, then click the Drawers button > New Template from Folders.
A Folder Template can be applied to any cabinet, drawer or folder (Folder Templates). When you apply a folder template, all of the folders in the template will be added to the drawer/folder. For example, you may have a template with folders for each month of the year. If you "apply" this template to a drawer, it will add all of the month folders to the drawer.
When you create a new drawer or folder, you can optionally apply a Folder Template at the same time. From the New Drawer/Folder dialog, select the Apply Folder Templateoption and select a Folder Template from the list. When the drawer/folder is created, the folder layout will be applied to it automatically.

... or:
It is safe to repeat this operation on a cabinet, even if you have applied the same template to the cabinet before (see below).
Folders in a template will only be added if they do not already exist. This means that applying a Folder Template to an existing drawer or folder will not affect its current contents. Even if there is already a folder which has the same name as a folder in the template, it will be unaffected.
