How to Run a Job

If you’ve set up a schedule for your job, QuikFile will run the job automatically according to the schedule, looking for new files and converting them without any action on your part. QuikFile doesn’t have to be open for this to work.

You can also run a job manually anytime you want. Here’s how that works:

  1. Select the Jobs tab
  2. Select the job
  3. Click Get Files > Begin Search

  4. Click Add to Queue to begin conversion

It’s safe to close the QuikFile interface while files are converting. QuikFile will continue working in the background.

Tip:

You can also drag/drop files into the queue. The files can come from anywhere on your computer. The converted copies will show up in the job’s output folder.
