Validate & Save Process

Validation

Validation involves a careful check to ensure the process will operate on a server. Various items are checked during validation including process flow requirements, data element formatting, and proper expression syntax.

Processes are automatically validated before they are saved to a server. You may manually validate a process by selecting the Validate Process item from the File menu.

If any errors are detected, they will be indicated in the Process Design window with red explanation marks. Process errors must be corrected before they can be saved to the server.

Saving

A process can be saved to the server by clicking on the Save icon , or selecting Save to Server from the file menu. Pressing CTRL-S on the keyboard is a shortcut to save the process.
