Common options of the triggers

Backup:

• Enable to enable or disable the backup option.
• Folder the folder to store the backup files. It is created automatically, the notation of the folder will be: yyyyMMdd_time_serial number of 3 characters.

Trigger counter: Counts how many times the trigger is used. This value can be used as metadata with the following notation [triggercounter].

Error handling:

• Retry attempts the number of retries before transferring the files to the Failed jobs section, or delete the imported documents (depends on the Delete job checkbox). The default is 3 times.
• Disable after failed attempts checking this box will disable the trigger after the specified number of retry attempts is reached.
• Delete job checking this box will delete the imported documents after the specified number of retry attempts is reached; otherwise transfers the files to the Failed jobs section.
• Email error notification: If processing of the incoming documents of this trigger fails, ScanFlowStore can send an email about it. The frequency of the email sending can be chosen here. This option is only available, if the Email error notification option is enabled on the Email tab of the general settings. The following values can be selected:
• Disabled: Sending emails is disabled for this trigger. 
• Per attempt: After every unsuccessful processing attempt, an email is sent out. This is the default value.
• Last attempt: If the processing was unsuccessful (the specified number of retry attempts is reached without luck), one email is sent out.

Shortcuts The use of shortcuts helps decrease the amount of time required to enter metadata. For example, a user needs to enter Zorin Industries as a company name, this value is used as metadata. When the shortcut zi = Zorin Industries is added, a user only enters zi on the scan device and the application will look up the actual value and replace zi with Zorin Industries.

Exclude metadata field from shortcut lookup:

If zi = Zorin Industries is added as a shortcut the application will replace every occurrence of zi with Zorin Industries. There are scenarios that a user does not want this to happen, therefore a metadata field can be excluded from the shortcut lookup, this is done by adding the ^ symbol between the brackets of the metadata field that to be excluded from the shortcut lookup, like [^companyname]

Add the shortcuts via the application UI or import them. Two different document types can be imported. These are:

• CSV with the following format: shortcut,value 
     Example: fred, [email protected]
