Language the language of the user interface can be changed with this setting.

Logging:

  • Level the logging level of the event view can be changed with this setting, the options are:
  • Errors: all errors are displayed in the event view.
  • Warnings: all errors and warnings are displayed in the event view.
  • Details: all available information is displayed in the event view.
  • Daily log file the daily log file option will store all logging information for each day in text file inside of the Logs folder that can be found in the installation folder of the application. The log files will only be stored for the amount of days specified and will then be deleted and replaced by a new log file at the end of each day.

Main counter:

  • Value counts the total number of scans processed by the application, the value of this counter can be used as metadata.

Listener:

  • Use IP address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) the scan device will use the IP address of the application server to setup the data transfer connection.
  • Use host name (Computer Name) the scan device will use the DNS host name of the application server to setup the data transfer connection. Recommended if the application server does not have a fixed IP address.
  • Port the port setting of the Advanced Scan Store Listener can be changed if needed, the listener service is used for the data transfer between the application and the scan devices.
  • Status shows the current status of the Listener service.
