How to store to Novell

Storing to a Novell file system is possible, though certain steps need to be taken in order for this to function correctly.

At first the ScanFlowStore service should have enough rights to access the Novell file system. To change the rights granted to the service please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the Run dialog of Windows by using the Start menu and selecting Run....
  2. Type Services.msc and click OK.
  3. Select the ScanFlowStore service.
  4. Choose Properties from the Action menu.
  5. Select the Log On tab and assign an account that will be used by the service. Be sure that the account has access to the network folder that the service needs to access.
  6. Click OK to save the settings.

The next step is to setup a trigger, which stores the imported and processed documents to the Novell file system. The way of this is similar to storing to a normal network share, so please read the How to access network folders section for further steps.
