Email - IMAP

The IMAP option provides storing in a subfolder of a mailbox

Properties

• Save mail in mailbox folder: by checking this box the option is enabled and the settings can be defined.
• Server: specify the name of the mail server.
• Port: the port used for the IMAP protocol, by default port 143 is used.
• Log on as: specify an account used to connect to the mailbox.
• Use metadata: the user credentials that are stored in the metadata fields can be used to populate the username, password and domain field. Please read Metadata description for more information about what user metadata is available.
• Username: the username of the account.
• Password: the password of the account.
• Folders: specify one or more folders by browsing through the mailbox or type the folder path. Note that the use of metadata is not allowed in this field. When no user account was specified in the fields above, a popup will ask for an account that is temporarily used for accessing the mailbox.
