Exact e-Synergy -Upload properties

Document:

  • Name the name of the field that need to be filled.
  • Value the value that need to be used for filling the field.
  • Default value a default value for the field. This default value will be used if no value is supplied using metadata.
  • DataType based on the selection the application will show the data type of that field.
  • Write pages as pictures check this option to show the scan pages (from, for example, TIFF or PDF files) in Exact e-Synergy as pictures. When this option is not ticked the scan document can still be viewed but only through external image viewers like Adobe Acrobatic reader. The function does not work with text files (for example, TXT, DOCX).

Request:

  • Store type select if or how a request is created, the options are:
  • New: create a new request.
  • Edit: edit an existing request. Attach the scan document to an already existing request.
  • No store: the scan document will be stored but no request will be created.
  • Name the name of the field that need to be filled.
  • Value the value that need to be used for filling the field.
  • Default value a default value for the field. This default value will be used if no value is supplied using metadata.
  • DataType based on the selection the application will show the data type of that field.

 In order to attach a scan document to a request the Document field is needed. When this field is selected the value of the Document field will automatically be populated with DocumentID. This ID will make the relationship between the document and the request. Same thing is possible for fields FreeGuid 1 to 10.
