Microsoft SharePoint - Upload properties

  • Filename the file name to be used for the scanned document. Use either fixed and/or variable metadata.
  • Overwrite by ticking this option the application will overwrite an already existing file that is using the same file name.

Custom fields:

  • Name the name of the custom field to populate. Please note that the name of the custom field should be exactly the same as used in SharePoint, the name of the custom field is case sensitive.
  • Value the value of the custom field. The value can be populated using fixed and/or variable metadata.

 

Fields that display the metadata browser icon can be populated with a metadata value.

  • Upload properties:
  • Subsite the name of the nested site.
  • Subfolder enter in which document library the scanned documents need to be stored. Subfolders of libraries can also be created, using either fixed and/or variable metadata. Start this path with a default folder or library, else the documents will not be visible in the SharePoint websites.
    Clicking the browse button will allow browsing in SharePoint’s website folders and shows this screen:
