Extract Pages

The Extract Pages feature takes pages from the current PDF and makes them into a new PDF. The pages can be moved or copied. To use this feature:

  1. Select your PDF in the Manage view, OR ...
Open your PDF in the Edit view
  2. Click PDF Actions > Extract Pages

  3. Choose the page(s) you want to extract
  4. Choose a filename for the extracted pages (Manageview only)

Tip:

To extract pages into an existing PDF, use the Transfer Pages feature.

Pages

Specify the range of pages you want to transfer. It can be the current selection or a custom range. If specifying a custom range, separate individual pages with commas (no spaces), and ranges of pages with a hyphen: "-". For example:

Example Meaning
1 page 1
1,3,5 pages 1, 3, and 5
1-5 pages 1 through 5
1,3-5 pages 1, 3, 4, and 5 (not page 2)
5- pages 5 through the end of the document

Delete Pages After Transfer

You can optionally delete the pages from your file after they are extracted. There is no way to undo this operation.

New Document

In Manage view, you’ll need to provide a filename for the new PDF. It will be created in the current drawer/folder.
