Error: "Indexed Cabinet Required"

If you receive an error that you don’t have any indexed cabinets to search, here’s what you need to do:

  1. On the "Search" tab, click the "Index Options" button (it’s on the right-hand side, near the top)
  2. Put a check mark next to each cabinet you want to be able to search
  3. Click "Start Indexer"

The indexer will now build a search index for your cabinets. When it’s done, you may need to close and re-open Enterprise Organizer Pro for the indexes to be recognized.

Now on your "Search" tab, you’ll see some cabinets on the left-hand side under the "Look In" section. Here you select the cabinet(s) you want to search.

Keep Your Indexes Current

If you want to keep your search indexes up-to-date, do the following:

  1. Go to the "Tools" menu > "Settings"
  2. Select the "Indexing" option on the left
  3. Make sure that "Enable Auto Indexer" is selected and that the run time is reasonable
  4. Put a check mark next to each cabinet that you want to keep up-to-date
  5. Click "OK"
