Quickly Refresh Your Search Indexes

Enterprise Organizer Pro has some shortcut methods for updating your search indexes on-the-fly. This is a fast, easy way to refresh your indexes right before you run a search.

In the "Search" view, you’ll notice a drop-arrow next to the "Index Options" button. If you click this arrow, you’ll see some indexing options:

Manage Indexes

This opens the Index Manager, where you have all indexing options available to you. It’s the same thing as just clicking the "Index Options" button.

Update Auto Index Cabinets

Selecting this option will refresh every search index that’s set for auto-indexing ("Tools" menu > "Settings" > "Indexing" > "Cabinets to be Auto Indexed").

Update Selected Cabinets

Selecting this option will refresh all of the cabinets that have checkmarks next to them in the list of cabinets to search (in your search criteria on the left).

Update All Listed Cabinets

Selecting this option will refresh all of the cabinets in the list of cabinets to search (in your search criteria on the left).
