The Cabinet Structure

Enterprise Organizer Pro uses regular Windows folders to store your files in. The cabinet’s structure is based on the folder layout, as seen here:

Cabinet

A file cabinet "points" to any folder or drive. Everything inside of this location will become the cabinet contents.

Inspect the drive or folder where the cabinet will begin. If this directory contains any files (as opposed to files in sub-folders), the files should either be moved into a sub-folder or you should enable the Cabinet Files feature as described in The Cabinet Files Drawer.

Note that after you create a file cabinet in this location, Enterprise Organizer Pro may place certain files in the cabinet-level directory. These must not be deleted.

Drawers

The level of folders directly below the cabinet directory will show up as drawers in the cabinet. Inspect this list of folders to see if these are the drawers you wish to have in the cabinet and make any changes needed.

Folders

Under the drawer-level folder come the drawer’s folders. There is no limit to how many folders can go in a drawer or how deeply folders can nest into one another. Inspect the layout of folders within each drawer-level folder to ensure that it is satisfactory.

Files

The files are contained in the folders of the drawer. Any folder or drawer can contain files.
