Scans are Too Light (or Dark)

Enterprise Organizer Pro uses the image exactly as it comes from the scanner. What we find is that scanners often store scanning preferences on a per-application basis. So when you began scanning from Enterprise Organizer Pro, you got the scanner’s generic settings. These aren’t always adequate. What you will need to do is display the scanner’s native dialog, which shows all of the scanning options, and adjust the image quality there. Here’s how to do it:

Do an "Advanced Scan" from Enterprise Organizer Pro
Select the option called "Show Scanner Dialog"
Click "OK"
You scanner’s dialog will appear
Now you can edit the image settings. For a black-and-white scan, you’ll be playing with "Brightness" and "Black/White Threshold" (sometimes called "White Balance"). It will take a bit of trial and error, but once you get the settings right you’ll get much better images.
